NPQ Funding for April 2025

We're thrilled to share that the DfE has confirmed funding will continue for the April 2025 NPQ cohort!

For the spring 2025 cohort, scholarship funding will be available to teachers and leaders from:

schools: the top 50% of state funded schools in England that have the highest proportion of students attracting pupil premium, as set out in the eligibility lists
16-19 settings: the top 50% of state funded settings in England that have the highest proportion of students eligible for disadvantage funding

For the Early Years Leadership NPQ, highly disadvantaged early years settings will also be eligible.

Eligibility lists for the spring cohort will be made available in early 2025.

NPQ in Headship, NPQ for SENCO and NPQ in Leading Primary Maths continue to be FREE to all publicly funded schools and 16 to 19 educational organisations.

We expect it to be similar to the October 2024 cohort, with places likely capped again.

Since spots might be limited, we recommend that any staff member interested in a NPQ fill out our local application form so we can start prioritising applicants. This will not be a guarantee of place, as we will not be able to confirm these until the first week of February.
