AB ECT Registration

Registering with Cambridgeshire and Peterborough AB Service:

Step 1 - Register with us

All ECTs need to be registered with an Appropriate Body to sign off that they have met the Teacher Standards.
To register new ECTs, please complete our Service Level Agreement and ensure you are registered on our ECT Manager system, which allows you to submit assessments and monitor your ECTs.
Please ensure you have inputted your ECT's Teacher Reference Number, their full name and date of birth correctly; this will then get sent to the Teacher Regulation Agency to confirm their induction.

Step 2 - Register your ECTs with the DfE Digital Service

Register your ECTs and mentors on the DfE Portal. Please list Cambridgeshire and Peterborough AB Service as your Appropriate Body, and ensure your Delivery Partner and Lead Provider are listed correctly.

Step 3: Register with your ECF Lead Provider

If you are registering on the DfE Funded route and will be using our Delivery Provider Teach First - please refer to the registration process on our Early Career Framework page. If using a different Delivery Provider due to using accredited materials or Design your own, please ensure you follow up on registration directly with them as needed.
